Classmates
www.classmates.com compiles lists on
graduates. They contain about 38,000,000 from 130,000 schools, going back
50 years. Free to browse, $39 annually for membership to make contact.
An alternate method is to contact your schools' website to get alumni relations
email address or phone.
Lost friends
Search engines offer tremendous power. Advanced searches using the
full name and unique details such as occupation, city of residence, etc.
You may wish to use more than one search engine to help you in this process.
Veterans
Us Dept of Defense will supply mailing addresses for servicemen on active
duty. Free to immediate family and government officials, $3.50 for all
others.

military membership organization. For an annual fee of 25, you can search
the organization's registry and contact others.
US Dept of Veteran Affairs ahs a website where they will forward a letter to any
veteran registered with them. www.va.gov
National Personnel Records Center provides info on deceases servicemen and
women. Information generally is free ut may incur a fee depending on the
search.
